Please see our updated protocols under the "traffic light" framework:

  • To minimise contact between our staff and our clients, we ask that only ONE healthy person accompanies their pet into the clinic
  • All clients in the clinic must wear an appropriate mask that covers the nose and mouth and this must be worn correctly whilst in the clinic
  • Please respect the barriers in the reception area and keep a physical distance of 2 metres from other clients. We may ask you to wait outside the clinic or in your car if there are other clients in the reception area
  • Clients that are unable to wear a mask will be asked to drop their pet off at reception and then wait while the vet/nurse examines the pet…vets will communicate with clients either via phone or outside the clinic (masked and at distance)

And please respect our team:

Everyone has the right to work in a safe environment and here at the Central Hutt Vet Clinic we don’t tolerate verbal abuse, aggression or bullying behaviour towards any of our team or other clients.

Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding.

David
